Minister Assia Wright, professionally known as New Beginnings Officiant, is a passionate wedding officiant based in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and proudly serves the Stone Mountain and Metro Atlanta areas. Ordained by the Universal Life Church following her own wedding,
Minister Wright is deeply committed to uniting couples in love. With roots in New York City and a childhood spent in Stone Mountain, she has a heartfelt belief in the enchantment of love at first sight. Minister Wright treasures the opportunity to witness and celebrate the beautiful exchange of love that is generously given and joyfully accepted.
Specializing in intimate weddings, she officiates over 100 ceremonies each year, with many of them being simple 15-minute appointments. During these brief yet significant moments, she efficiently completes the marriage license, witnesses the couple's signatures, asks if they take each other in marriage, and often captures the occasion with a quick photo.
While a number of these ceremonies occur in cozy coffee shops—perhaps not the quintessential romantic venue—they possess a unique charm for couples who value the intimacy of their surroundings.
